This marks the second time the award has been given to an EHS staff member, highlighting the importance of this achievement.
Misty was recognized during the Traveling Breakfast event, recently held at Texas Emergency Hospital, where staff and leadership gathered to connect and celebrate extraordinary achievements. She was recognized for her exceptional efforts in caring for a newborn under challenging conditions during severe flooding in the area. Despite the adversities posed by the floods, Misty acted swiftly to ensure the safety and well-being of both the mother and the baby.
